Principal
WELCOME WILDCATS! I am honored to be the Principal of South McKeel Academy! This year marks my seventeenth year in education, all of which have been with The Schools of McKeel Academy. My career began at McKeel Elementary Academy, now known as McKeel Academy Central, where I was a classroom teacher for over a decade. I taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades, then served as the instructional coach for several years, working alongside kindergarten through sixth grade teachers, helping shape instruction and providing resources. In 2018 I moved from one McKeel campus to the other and have been a proud administrator of South McKeel Academy ever since. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Florida Southern College in 2004 and my Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida in 2010. I am trilled to be part of the SMA family and I am looking forward to a successful school year!
