Asst. Prinicipal

Welcome, McKeel students and families!

I am honored and excited to serve as Assistant Principal and to continue my journey with The Schools of McKeel Academy. As I celebrate my 19th year in education, I remain grateful for the opportunity to support our students, families, and staff as we work together to help every child thrive.

I earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of South Florida and a master's degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education. I am certified in Elementary Education (K–6), Exceptional Student Education (ESE K–12), and Educational Leadership (All Levels), and have endorsements in ESOL and Reading.

What inspires me most is building meaningful relationships and creating a school environment where every student feels valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. Throughout my career, I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades and served as a K–6 math interventionist. These experiences have strengthened my belief that education is most powerful when it is rooted in collaboration, creativity, and joy.

I believe strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success, and I look forward to working alongside our families throughout the year. Together, we can create opportunities for growth, celebrate achievements, and ensure that every child feels connected, confident, and empowered to succeed.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children. I am excited for all that we will accomplish together this year. Go Wildcats!
