Welcome to Kindergarten!
I am so excited for a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, and—most importantly—FUN! This year marks my 16th year teaching kindergarten, and I can’t wait to welcome a new group of Wildcats into our Mckeel family.
I graduated from the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!) and am certified to teach grades K–6, with endorsements in Exceptional Student Education and English Speakers of Other Languages. My husband, Tony, and I have two daughters: Alexis and Ashlin—both proud McKeel Wildcat graduates—and Alec, our 12-year-old son, who will be starting 7th grade this year at MAT. As a family, we are huge basketball fanatics, and we love cheering on our favorite teams together.
Teaching kindergarten brings me tremendous joy! My goal is to create a strong foundation while sparking a love and excitement for learning in every child. I can’t wait to watch your kindergartner learn, grow, and create wonderful memories this year. We are going to have an incredible adventure together!
