Welcome back, Wildcats! I’m so excited to kick off another amazing year with you all. This marks my twelfth year teaching elementary students and my ninth year at The Schools of McKeel Academy. I am proud to be your child’s language arts and social studies teacher this year!
I hold both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Education from Florida Southern College. I am certified to teach all subjects in grades K-6, with endorsements in ESOL and Reading, and I am also a silver-level certified Whole Brain Teaching instructor.
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching kindergarten, first, third, and fourth grades, as well as serving as our school’s K-6 Reading Interventionist. I feel truly honored to help guide your child’s growth and success this year.
In fourth grade, we’ll dive into reading, writing, and explore the rich history of our great state of Florida in social studies. I look forward to an incredible year of learning and growing together as we nurture your child’s love for literacy and history!
