Mrs. Harris

5th Grade Team

Hello Wildcats!  I am Mrs. Harris, and I am excited to be teaching 5th Grade at MAC again this year!  This is my twenty-fourth year teaching and my fifteenth year as a McKeel teacher.  I graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Elementary Education.  I am certified to educate students in grades 1-6 and have my ESOL Endorsement.  I strive to help my students reach their full potential to become life-long learners through inquiry-based lessons in Social Studies and Writing.  I am looking forward to a great year!

Zoom Office Hours:  I will have office hours by appointment this week!  Please send me an

email if you need help and we can set a time to meet on Zoom if needed.

Harris Homeroom Zoom Meeting on Friday, May 22, at 10:30!

*This week, your assignments have a required progression.  Be sure to View, Submit, or Mark as Done to be able to move through the assignments throughout the week.  I will be viewing results to make sure assignments are finished and correct. Only mark assignments as done if you completed the activities in the lesson.

*I have included a link to all Liberty's Kids videos in the module this week. These are OPTIONAL, not required. I know some students really enjoy them, so feel free to watch them if you are finished with all work and have extra time.

Digital Citizenship & Goals

Students will learn how to become positive Digital Citizens this year!  They will learn the importance of using technology properly, expectations of using iPads in the classroom, how to be responsible with technology, and how to use digital information fairly. Send a text to the number below and include the message listed below to sign up!
