There's is just nothing quite like watching that "lightbulb" go off on a student's face!
That in itself is what caused me to fall in love with education. After completing my Bachelor's degree in 2008 in Elementary Education (2 years at Clemson University (Go Tigers! ðŸ¾) & 2 years at SEU), I joined the McKeel team and have never skipped a beat! Through music, hands on activities, technology, and small groups, I will always strive my best to meet the needs of all individual learners. My classroom is a fun, family-like atmosphere in which students should feel comfortable to be themselves and KNOW that they belong. As new resources and information arise, I long to continuously improve my skills and knowledge as an educator. As a way to strive as a life-long learner, I have earned a Master's degree from USF in Educational Leadership (2012) and a Master's degree from SEU in Elementary Education (2015). There's always more to learn! Time DEFINITELY flies when you're having fun! As I embark on my tenth year teaching, I look forward to new,exciting activities and units that we will complete this year!
